The LiteBeam is Ubiquiti Networks’ most recent iteration of a portable and lightweight outdoor wireless broadband solution. Each of these models was created to be a long-distance, wireless broadband bridging solution with a reasonable cost/performance trade-off. It runs at high performance speeds in the unlicensed, global 5 GHz frequency band.

The whole radio system is integrated into the antenna feed via InnerFeed technology (models LBE-M5-23 and LBE-5AC-23), and the ground-breaking airMAX TDMA protocol improves network performance and scalability.
