Our fastest router has now gotten faster thanks to the addition of two SFP+ ports for 10G interface compatibility in the new CCR1036-8G-2S+ (SFP+ module sold separately). The performance is the same and it employs the same 36-core Tilera CPU as our previous CCR1036 model, but now ten gigabit links are supported.
The device features two SFP+ ports, eight Gigabit ethernet connections, a serial console connector, and it comes in a 1U rackmount case.
The updated CCR1036-8G-2S+EM includes a twin PSU for redundancy, an integrated M.2 slot, 8GB of RAM, and a full-size USB port.
