With Mikrotik’s latest flagship product, the Cloud Core Router 2216, get started on your 100 Gigabit trip! Its potent 16-core CPU is capable of matching the potent 72-core Tile CPU of the former flagship, the CCR1072.
However, with L3 Hardware Offloading, the remarkable Marvell Prestera Aldrin2 switch-chip really takes it to the next level! The switch-chip in the previous CCR2116 had four 10G CPU connection lines; however, this time, there are four 25G lines!
A Gigabit Ethernet port, 12 SFP28 cages for 25 Gigabit networking, and 2 QSFP28 cages for lightning-fast 100 Gigabit connectivity are all included. Along with two M.2 SATA slots for additional storage and a respectable amount of NAND storage, the gadget has 16 GB of RAM. Together with the dual-redundant hot-swap power supply, there are four hot-swappable fans. Additionally, if you have previously used our CCR1072, these PSUs may appear familiar to you: You can continue to utilize your old hot-swap power supply and SFP modules with these PSUs.
